Irish company Softworks has won the contract to provide their market leading Time & Attendance/Flexitime and Access Control system to Fife Council in Scotland. Following a lengthy tendering process, wholly owned Irish Company, Softworks has been awarded the contract, against stiff competition from within the UK and wider European region. Initial deployment of the system will take place in the Council’s six key administrative buildings, and be used to standardise and enhance time recording and access control for the council’s 16,000 Scottish employees. The contract comes with the option to expand this to include all staff members and 200 Council buildings.
Andrew Ferguson, CEO of Softworks, said “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract as it demonstrates Fife Council’s confidence in our ability to provide an Enterprise level, technically advanced, “end to end” solution and service. This will not only meet their objectives of today, but will provide a platform that supports a mobile, flexible and secure working environment for the future.
